Constellation Europe has made some major changes to its sales structure to kick off the New Year.

A spokeswoman said: “The UK and European sales organisation will now fall under a single leadership. This will allow the company to maximise its category and trade marketing resources across the marketplace.”

Two existing members of the European leadership team have been promoted, with immediate effect.

Former managing director of Gaymer Cider Company John Mills is now senior vice president of European sales. He is responsible for wine sales in the UK and mainland Europe, including Ireland.

Troy Christensen, president of Constellation Europe said: “John has done a tremendous job turning around our Gaymer Cider business and I am confident he can apply his considerable experience and capability to unify our entire selling organisation.”

Peter Spencer is now managing director of Gaymer Cider Company. He has been managing wine and cider sales teams for more than eight years at Matthew Clark and Constellation.
