Published:  19 January, 2009

Coors Brewers chief executive Mark Hunter will be the next president of British advertisers' body ISBA.

The former Bass Brewers marketing director hopes to use his position to protect businesses' right to advertise.

He said: "Companies face a challenge in protecting their freedom to advertise from increasing regulation, especially during the current commercial downturn.

Part of Hunter's role will be to chair the ISBA council, the organisation's senior governance body. He succeeds John Clare, the former chief executive of retailer DSG International.
