Sporting hat-trick for Pride

06 February, 2009

Fullerís is to advertise its London Pride ale brand around matches involving the English cricket, football and rugby union teams.

The brand is advertising during coverage of the test cricket series against the West Indies, which started on Sky Sports this week.

The cricket campaign continues until the end of the one-day series in April.

Rugby-themed ads in national newspapers and Sport magazine will run for the duration of the Six Nations tournament which starts this weekend.

Pride will also be advertised on perimeter boards at the England football friendly against Spain in Seville on Feb 11.

John Roberts, managing director of Fullerís Beer Co, said: ďThese deals demonstrate our commitment to placing London Pride in the minds of millions of potential customers, at a time when many other companies are scaling back investment in promoting their brands.

ďAs 2009 unfolds there will be much more advertising for the brand to come.Ē
