Gaymer Cider Company is increasing

investment in its live music campaign to more than £5 million this summer. As well as sponsoring festivals including Glastonbury, Download, Camp Bestival, Reading and events in Hyde Park, the brand is sponsoring a stage at London's Lovebox. It will also have increased presence at Leeds, Latitude and Bestival with the Gaymers Cider Garden, featuring branded teepees, Rockaoke - the live band version of karaoke, and Vinyl Corner, where festivalgoers can choose their tunes for a DJ.

Richard Hemming MW: beware inverse snobbery

Few things can bring communal pleasure so intimately as wine. Apart from a hot tub, perhaps. Sport can trigger mass jubilation, film gives us shared empathy, but wine has a nigh-unique ability to bestow conviviality among us through a shared bottle – which makes it especially galling that we spend so much time divided over it.
