London Pride stars in ITV1 campaign

Fuller's London Pride will be back on TV screens this spring.

A new version of London Pride's "ingredients" ad

will appear in prominent slots during the ITV network's high profile sport, drama, documentary and entertainment programmes.

To support the TV ad s, shown in

the London and Meridian TV

regions until the end of May,

London Pride will also feature on

a poster campaign across London

and the southern half of the country.

John Roberts, managing director of The Fuller's Beer Company, said: "This campaign will see us reach more of those drinkers than ever before.

"We're delighted that ITV has put together a great package of programming

for the sporting season ."

Elaine Goulden,

key account director at ITV commercial, said: "This is a fantastic endorsement of TV as an effective marketing medium."

Few things can bring communal pleasure so intimately as wine. Apart from a hot tub, perhaps. Sport can trigger mass jubilation, film gives us shared empathy, but wine has a nigh-unique ability to bestow conviviality among us through a shared bottle ľ which makes it especially galling that we spend so much time divided over it.
