A second branch of independent wine merchant the Naked Grape

24 April, 2009

opened its doors

to an expectant crowd on Easter Saturday. "Trade

just keeps growing,"

said manager Warren Giles (pictured). The new shop is

in Four Marks, Alton - six miles away from the original store in Alresford. Naked Grape specialises in wines from small estates and growers, hand-chosen real ales, imported lagers and specialist spirits. "Being independent has huge upsides - we are 100% flexible, sourcing and selling products our customers ask for, plus tasting every wine before we buy it ," Giles

said.
