Majestic halves minimum purchase

Majestic has halved the minimum amount of bottles customers can buy in-store to six.

From today (September 1) customers will be able to buy cases of six bottles from the retailer.

The move follows a year long trial in selected outlets. “The trial has shown positive results and reducing our minimum purchase makes Majestic even more accessible to both current and new customers,” a spokesman said.

Chief executive Steve Lewis added: “Majestic has always been a great place to stock up, but our new minimum purchase now means we are also a great place if you’re just popping in.”
