Limited edition glass offer for Babycham

Constellation is giving consumers the chance to win one of 2,500 pairs of limited edition Babycham glasses in a pre-Christmas promotion.

The competition is running on four-packs of 20cl bottles of the perry brand.

The promotion is designed to raise awareness for the brand at a time of the year when sales reach 15 times their average for the rest of the year.

Clare Griffiths, vice president for European consumer marketing for Constellation Europe, says: “The number of stockists more than double. This promotion will further cement the brands popularity at this key sales period and will firmly position Babycham as the original party drink.”

A limited edition glass has been produced for Babycham each year since 1953.

Few things can bring communal pleasure so intimately as wine. Apart from a hot tub, perhaps. Sport can trigger mass jubilation, film gives us shared empathy, but wine has a nigh-unique ability to bestow conviviality among us through a shared bottle – which makes it especially galling that we spend so much time divided over it.
