Expansion plans for Oxford Wine Company

09 December, 2009

based in Gloucestershire.

The deal will be effective from February and sees The Oxford Wine Company take on additional warehouse space.

It is also looking to appoint two new members of staff – a warehouse assistant and a trade sales executive.

Ted Sandbach, owner and managing director of The Oxford Wine Company, said: “Jackie Wheels has owned Bona Wines for 11 years and built up a strong customer base, but has been finding it hard to develop her expanding business in its current form.

“She will have considerably more scope to do so within the framework of a larger company. She shares a very similar wine philosophy to us, and I look forward to merging our two lists and strengthening our presence in the region.”
