Jewell launches Sparís first ever wine festival

19 February, 2010

Spar is to hold its first ever national wine festival from April 22.

The festival will take place in 2,100 shops and there will be 25% off 35 wines.

Spar is hoping to cash in on World Cup fever by including a selection of its South African range.

Around half of the wines included in the festival will be French.

Wine controller Laura Jewell MW said: ďWe have committed real investment and resource into finding some of the best wines for our own branded range and it is great to be able to bring them to the market at genuinely great value.

ďThe Spar Wine Festival is designed to make it easy for people to try something new without breaking the bank.Ē
