Wine fair offers first chance to sample Vin de France line-up

19 February, 2010

Visitors to the London International Wine Fair will have the first opportunity to taste wines from the new Vins de France category.

The Association Nationale Interprofessionnelle des Vins de France will also seek the opinion of a panel of qualified tasters.

Sopexa account manager Sabine Cleizergues said: “?The panel, which is being chaired by Anthony Rose, will then pick their favourite wines.” Importers and retailers from the UK will have a chance to enter a competition to name the association’s best value wines – all of which will be available to the UK market.

They can register for the Best Value Vin de France 2010 competition by emailing sabine.cleizergues@sopexa.com.

Registration is free and open until February 26.
