Castel’s Burchett takes top Sopexa UK post

Anne Burchett, former managing director of Castel UK, has been appointed managing director of Sopexa’s UK and Ireland offices.

She is reporting to Charles Collard, regional managing director for the UK, Ireland and Benelux, who has moved from London to Sopexa head office in Paris.

Burchett brings with her more than 20 years’ wine industry experience, including spells as UK sales and marketing director at Vinival, director of sales at Waverley TBS and UK sales and marketing director at Skalli-Fortant de France.

Collard said: “She is a well-known and well-respected figure in the British wine industry, and brings enormous commercial and marketing expertise to the company.”?Burchett added: “My mission is to consolidate Sopexa’s market leadership position in the promotion of French wine products on the UK market, as well as to attract new clients.

“Sopexa has a key role to play in nurturing trade between France and its export markets through providing the right marketing solutions to both our clients and industry partners.”
