Halewood invests in Power Pack

Halewood International is hoping to capture a slice of the £632 million energy shots market with the launch of Red Alert Power Pack.

The new 6cl bottle is a smaller version of Halewood’s Red Alert brand, which was redesigned last year and had all artificial colours and flavourings removed.

Consumer press ads, online and viral marketing, and a national sampling programme will back the launch.

Head of innovation Richard Clark said: “The investment we have made in Red Alert Power Pack is designed to give us a platform on which we can build distribution, sales and brand awareness.

“This is the latest example of how we are committed to delivering an ongoing innovation programme across the broad range of sectors in which we operate.”?Red Alert Power Pack has a?n rrp of £1.39.

Few things can bring communal pleasure so intimately as wine. Apart from a hot tub, perhaps. Sport can trigger mass jubilation, film gives us shared empathy, but wine has a nigh-unique ability to bestow conviviality among us through a shared bottle – which makes it especially galling that we spend so much time divided over it.
