Brains celebrates huge leap in sales

Brains has seen a? 162% increase in its bottled and canned beer sales over the past year.

It puts its sales growth down to its?national supermarket listings in Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose, as well as

istings in all Welsh Tesco and Asda stores.

Richard Davies, sales and marketing director at Brains, said: “More and more consumers are discovering a taste for distinctive, premium beers?. Christmas proved to be a very busy period for us.”?

Few things can bring communal pleasure so intimately as wine. Apart from a hot tub, perhaps. Sport can trigger mass jubilation, film gives us shared empathy, but wine has a nigh-unique ability to bestow conviviality among us through a shared bottle – which makes it especially galling that we spend so much time divided over it.
