New berry cider set to hit shelves

15 April, 2010

Healey’s Cyder is branching out into the fruit cider market with its Berry Rattler.

The latest innovation will be launching in 50cl bottles in from multiples throughout Cornwall and the South West.

The 4% abv cider is made by blending original Cornish Rattler with red berries, which the company describes as a “fresh summery drink which still retains the Rattler bite”.

Sam Healey said: “We like to be different, and Berry Rattler is no exception. It offers a more unusual blend, a distinctive label and branding which will ensure standout from the crowd.”

Healey added there were plans to introduce the brand to consumers across the south.

Cornish Ratter Cyder (6% abv) was bottled in 2007 and Pear Rattler Cyder (4% abv) was introduced in 2008.
