Fosterís to sponsor Channel 4 comedy

Fosterís is to sponsor more than 100 hours of Channel 4ís comedy content from the end of May and a Film 4 comedy film season in June.

The Fosterís sponsorship runs until December and will feature programme idents for the brand across a range of comedy shows, including series seven of Peep Show and 8 Out of 10 Cats.

Mark Given, brands director for Heineken UK, said: ďDespite tough trading conditions and a declining beer market, Fosterís delivered excellent results in 2009.

ďWe have increased marketing investment to build on that performance. A new advertising campaign and the creation of an exciting, through-the-line sponsorship property will differentiate Fosterís from competitor brands.Ē
