Dawson to join M&S wine team

Emma Dawson has joined Marks & Spencer as buyer in the online wine business M&S Wine Direct.

Emma Dawson is to join Marks & Spencer as buyer in the online wine business M&S Wine Direct.

Dawson previously spent six years at Sainsbury’s in wine and e-commerce.

She will join M&S on June 7.

Category manager Andrew Bird said: “With her passion for product and extensive commercial experience of the worlds of wine and digital media, Emma will be a key part of M&S’s strategy to grow our wine e-commerce business over the months and years ahead.”

Dawson won the Derouet Jameson scholarship in last year’s Wine & Spirit Education Trust Diploma exam, which she will use to part-fund her MW course.
