Lorgeril gives Château de Ciffre label premium makeover

11 June, 2010

Languedoc domaine Lorgeril has revamped its Château de Ciffre range to lend the triple-tiered line a more premium look.

A contemporary font and drawings of the domaine’s art deco windmill and house – now converted into a boutique gîte – will appear on the new-look foil labels.

Château de Ciffre wines are available via PLB in the UK, with an rrp of £8.49 for the Classique Saint Chinian red, £10.99-£12.49 for the Terroirs d’Altitude Faugères and Saint Chinian red duo, and £22.99 for the grand vin. Moulin de Ciffre rosé is also available (rrp £8.49).

Lorgeril acquired the 70ha, high-altitude Château de Ciffre estate in 2007. It is situated at the crossroads of three AOCs – Saint-Chinian, Faugères and Coteaux du Languedoc.
