Fullerís Fine Ale Club celebrates 10 years

A tasting event at the Griffin Brewery in Chiswick marked the 10th anniversary of the Fullerís Fine Ale Club.

The club brings together people with a passion for fine ale and now boasts 25,000 members.

The anniversary tutored tasting was attended by head brewer John Keeling, Fullerís directors, including chairman Michael Turner, and 25 Fine Ale Club members and guests.

Members won places by submitting a report on a beer?-tasting event they h?eld themselves.

Richard Hemming MW: beware inverse snobbery

Few things can bring communal pleasure so intimately as wine. Apart from a hot tub, perhaps. Sport can trigger mass jubilation, film gives us shared empathy, but wine has a nigh-unique ability to bestow conviviality among us through a shared bottle Ė which makes it especially galling that we spend so much time divided over it.
