First Drinks offers Cognac holiday?

08 January, 2010

First Drinks is hoping to boost sales of Rémy Martin VSOP with a competition to win a holiday to Cognac.

The theme of the competition is “Do you have impeccable taste?”. Consumers who identify the correct aromas and flavours in a glass of VSOP will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win the trip, including a visit to the Rémy estate.

The call for entries will appear on print ads and online including the First Drinks consumer-facing website in-the-spirit.co.uk.

Consumers can enter at tastetheheartofcognac.com until January 31.

Senior brand manager Anthony Habert said: “The Taste the Heart of Cognac programme has been designed to directly engage our consumers with the flavour profile of Rémy Martin, and boost VSOP sales further throughout our key trading time?of year.

“We have a real story about the heritage of Rémy Martin and this competition positions us at the centre of the Cognac-making industry.”?
