Galaxy backs Bubbles bar

Galaxy is backing its new Bubbles variant with a Ł2.5 million marketing spend.

The bar is filled with an aerated chocolate centre and will be available as a single bar (rrp 52p) or in multipacks of four (rrp Ł1.69).

The marketing push will include outdoor ads and in-store POS ranging from dump bins to counter unit displays.

Bep Sandhu, trade relations manager at Mars, said: “The release of Galaxy Bubbles comes off the back of a very successful year for Galaxy.

“Galaxy Bubbles will be Galaxy’s biggest-ever launch to date, and we are confident this product will be well received by the trade and our consumers.”

Few things can bring communal pleasure so intimately as wine. Apart from a hot tub, perhaps. Sport can trigger mass jubilation, film gives us shared empathy, but wine has a nigh-unique ability to bestow conviviality among us through a shared bottle – which makes it especially galling that we spend so much time divided over it.
