ooks set to benefit from tongue-in-cheek TV and outdoor ads in the run? up to Christmas.

The TV ad, a continuation of the brand’s long-standing Have You Got a WKD Side? theme, will air across terrestrial and satellite stations.

The outdoor campaign will appear nationally on high-profile billboards and six-sheet sites.

It will be backed by trade promotions, sa?id Beverage Brands’ marketing director Debs Carter. “WKD Blue 70cl, the leading RTD SKU, will be available in Ł10.79 price-flashed cases to help build upon the pack format’s recent 9% volume growth. As 70cl Blue is also the number one premium packaged drink SKU in the impulse market, the benefit of stocking it is clear?.”?

Few things can bring communal pleasure so intimately as wine. Apart from a hot tub, perhaps. Sport can trigger mass jubilation, film gives us shared empathy, but wine has a nigh-unique ability to bestow conviviality among us through a shared bottle – which makes it especially galling that we spend so much time divided over it.
