Divine is all heart for Valentine’s Day

16 April, 2010

Fairtrade company Divine Chocolate has unveiled two new additions to its Valentine’s range.

The Strawberry & Raspberry Duo pack contains a 100g bar of white chocolate with real strawberries and a 100g bar of 70% dark chocolate with real raspberries (rrp £3.99).

The Divine Valentine Milk Chocolate Heart is moulded into a hollow heart shape and presented in a see-through presentation box (rrp £4.99). Both will be available from January.

Divine is co-owned by a co-operative of 45,000 cocoa farmers in Ghana.

“While Fairtrade ensures farmers receive a better deal for their cocoa and additional income to invest in their community, company ownership gives farmers a share of Divine’s profits and a stronger voice in the cocoa industry,” a spokeswoman said.
