Famous Grouse packaging updated

Maxxium UK is introducing new packaging for Famous Grouse ahead of a year-long marketing campaign.

The company said the new look would give more prominence to the Grouse on a larger label, with a new drawing by wildlife artist Rodger MacPhail.

The marketing campaign will follow the Famous For a Reason campaign used for the brand last Christmas.

Marketing manager Chris Anderson said: “The new packaging will deliver added standout on-shelf with the brand icon becoming the real hero of the pack.”

Few things can bring communal pleasure so intimately as wine. Apart from a hot tub, perhaps. Sport can trigger mass jubilation, film gives us shared empathy, but wine has a nigh-unique ability to bestow conviviality among us through a shared bottle – which makes it especially galling that we spend so much time divided over it.
