Update for Kronenbourg pack
Published:  12 July, 2010

Heineken UK is to update the packaging for its Kronenbourg 1664 lager brand.

The new-look adopts the global design for the brand to give it what Heineken UK called a “Gallic, edgy and more modern look".

The relaunch forms part of a marketing push by the brand which includes a new TV and press campaign from October.

The redesign includes a tweak to the reference to an in-can widget in the lager, changing it from Dynamo Systeme to Draught Systeme.

Senior brand manager Lucas Bergmans said: “The premium lager category remains in growth and the new look for Kronenbourg within the off-trade aims to bring more shoppers’ attentions to the brand.”
