l Peroni Nastro Azzurro is launching an on-pack promotion as part of its new through-the-line campaign, Accademia del Film. The on-pack promotion is running on four, six and 12-packs of 33cl bottles, bottles of 66cl and 3x66cl packs. Consumers will have the chance to win one of 10 five-star trips to iconic Italian film locations, including Rome, Venice and Florence.

Foster’s has launched a new version of its Good Call campaign to “further reinforce the brand’s famous Aussie No Worries attitude”. Leaner sees Brad and Dan in a beach-side den, providing advice to Englishman Tom about his friend’s habit of standing too close.

The UK arm of Dutch brewer Bavaria has introduced Wit, a wheat beer, to its range of alcohol-free beers as a “refreshing new alternative to summer soft drinks”. The beer is available in Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Ocado and range of convenience stores.

The Brewers Association’s Export Development Program will showcase a variety of US craft beers from small and independent breweries at the Great British Beer Festival, from August 3-7 at Earls Court, London. For the first time the Brewers Association’s EDP is the official sponsor of Bières Sans Frontières, a programme that introduces unique beers to the British market.

Wychwood brewery’s Hobgoblin has teamed up with British motorbike company Royal Enfield to create an exclusive Hobgoblin Bullet bike, which will be given away to a lucky winner. The shops that stand out from the madding crowd

The judges met last week to sort out the winners in the independent categories of our 2018 Drinks Retailing Awards. The results are top secret until the awards dinner on February 6 but it’s giving nothing away to report that the overall standard of those that will be revealed in the shortlist of finalists in the January issue of DRN is higher than it’s ever been.
