A chance to visit Argentina with OLN

20 August, 2010

Retailer readers have a last chance to enter the OLN competition to win a trip to Argentina, running in association with the country’s generic wine body.

To coincide with the bicentenary of Argentina’s independence, Wines of Argentina and OLN are looking for the top independents championing the country’s wines in the UK.

To be in with a chance of winning one of five trips to Argentina, merchants must run an in-store promotion on the country’s wines during October.

Retailers will be given all they need to carry out the promotion but those interested in taking part need to complete and return a form, available from lee.sharkey@william-reed.co.uk.

Forms must be returned by August 27, after which a shortlist of retailers will be chosen to take part.

The selected retailers will be invited to attend a series of masterclasses and receive a selection of gold and trophy-winning wines from the Argentina Wine Awards 2010, plus POS material.

A second round will determine five winners, based on the success and flair of their in-store activity.
