Russian Standard aims to stand out

Russian Standard vodka has announced an on-pack promotion giving consumers the chance to win tickets to music gigs and film screenings across the UK.

The 300,000 promotional bottles will include a Russian Standard Vodka Originals privilege card, which consumers can activate online. This allows them to apply to win free tickets, and provides access to additional content, such as exclusive interviews and downloads.

The film festival will run in partnership with Empire magazine and starts in London on September 6.

Joanne Birkitt, senior brand manager, said Russian Standard vodka has enjoyed fantastic growth in the UK in the past year, up 54% in the off-trade.

“We’re making a significant investment in the Russian Standard Vodka Originals programme, demonstrating our commitment to the UK market and hope to build brand loyalty with existing fans and drive trial programmes with new drinkers,” said Birkitt.

“The promotional bottles of Russian Standard vodka will give real standout and offer consumers great added value.” Russian Standard is now the number two premium vodka in the UK.
