Win tickets to top rugby fixture

Inter Rhône and OLN are offering five readers the chance to win a pair of tickets to a top rugby union day out to celebrate its sponsorship of the London Double Header.

Côtes du Rhône Wines is official event sponsor at Twickenham on September 4 for matches involving Harlequins, London Irish, Saracens and Wasps.

Olivier Legrand, Inter Rhône marketing manager, said: “In Britain there is a strong affinity between rugby audiences and wine, with nearly 30% of adult rugby fans aged 30 to 55 regularly consuming it.”?Jon Varney, commercial director of Premiership Rugby, said: “The London Double Header has become a fixture in the rugby calendar and attracted 68,000 supporters last season. Few things can bring communal pleasure so intimately as wine. Apart from a hot tub, perhaps. Sport can trigger mass jubilation, film gives us shared empathy, but wine has a nigh-unique ability to bestow conviviality among us through a shared bottle – which makes it especially galling that we spend so much time divided over it.
