Find Wine offers 'ultimate dinner party'

24 August, 2010

Online retailer Find Wine is running a consumer competition to win a dinner party, including food and wine, in their own home for themselves and nine guests.

To enter, consumers are being asked to nominate their dream dinner party menu with the winning entry being chosen by an independent panel of foodies.

Writer and broadcaster Joe Wadsack will play the part of Find Wine’s “ultimate dinner guest” who will turn up with the ingredients for the chosen menu and specially-matched wines – he’ll also cook the meal and provide “endless banter, witty commentary and tall tales”.

Find Wine founder Mike Howes said: “Our philosophy is to make wine fun, approachable and enjoyable.

“The aim of the competition is to engage the consumer in a memorable and slightly off-beat manner, while encouraging people to engage with food, explore the nuances of food and wine matching and reacquaint themselves with at-home entertaining.”
