Purity Brewing is sponsoring the Birmingham Comedy Festival, which runs from October 1 to 10.

The Warwickshire-based brewer will be holding beer-tasting events at a number of shows and selected venues that don’t normally stock Purity beers – which include Ubu and Mad Goose – will be selling its bottled ales.

Managing director Paul Halsey said: “We continuously look for ways in which we can support local events and the arts in particular.

“We look forward to promoting our beers to a wider audience using the platform of comedy.”?Acts appearing at the Birmingham Comedy Festival include Armstrong & Miller, Ross Noble, Shazia Mirza and Jo Enright.
