Grants zones in onáTullamore Dew

01 October, 2010

Scotch whisky producer William Grant & Sons has sold its Carolans, Frangelico and Irish Mist liqueur brands, less than three months after buying them from Magners firm C&C International.

Italian spirits group Campari is paying e128 million for the liqueur brands.

The latest deal is a clear sign that Tullamore Dew Irish whiskey was the key prize for Grants in the package it originally bought.

Grants has already set up a new marketing office in Dublin to handle theábrand.
