Essex off-licence chain aims for 15 shops

An Essex off-licence operator hopes to have 15 stores in its estate before the end of the year.

Jubilee Wines already has branches in Halstead, Grays, Upminster and Shenfield and plans to open soon in Pitsea, Thorpe Bay, Buckhurst Hill, and Chelmsford.

The stores are opening on the site of former First Quench shops, including several branches of The Local.

All the new shops will be rebadged at Jubilee Wines and the business says it will eventually be employing 60 staff.
