Oddbins refreshes fortified wine offer

Oddbins has revamped its fortified wine range, with eight new ports, two Madeiras and four new sherries hitting shelves this month.

New listings include a white port from family producer Churchill’s and two Tawny ports from Noval and Taylor’s.

Buyer Ana Sapungiu said she was focusing on smaller producers to provide a point of difference from the multiples.

“We do need certain brands that people recognise but also need to be different as we can’t compete on price,” she added.
