Sovereign packs turn on city lights

JTI has launched a range of four limited edition pack designs for its Sovereign brand. They have a “city lights” theme and are available for six weeks only.

Each outer pack contains stocks of all four packs.

Head of communications at JTI Jeremy Blackburn said: “Sovereign sells particularly well in local convenience stores, CTNs and forecourts in comparison with other channels.

“Retailers in south east England and the Midlands should take special note as Sovereign is particularly strong here,” he added.

JTI has also added packs of 14 cigarettes to its Mayfair and Silk Cut brands, with rrps of £3.82 and £4.41 respectively.

Few things can bring communal pleasure so intimately as wine. Apart from a hot tub, perhaps. Sport can trigger mass jubilation, film gives us shared empathy, but wine has a nigh-unique ability to bestow conviviality among us through a shared bottle – which makes it especially galling that we spend so much time divided over it.
