15,000 store makeover up for grabs with Kumala

Constellation is offering independents a prize of a £15,000 refit as part of a Christmas promotion for Kumala.

Cash and carries across the UK will be participating in the prize draw until the end of January. The makeover will be accompanied by merchandising advice and local advertising.

Constellation is promising a “major focus on the independent and convenience sector” in the coming months.

Marketing vice-president Clare Griffiths said the South African brand’s sales were up 38% in independents in the year to September 4, according to Nielsen data.

“The independent sector is key for Kumala, which is why we’re supporting retailers both during the crucial Christmas trading period, and into the future, with this fantastic shop makeover prize and support package, designed to give their business a real boost,” she said.
