Blavod aims to stand out from the crowd

Blavod black vodka has had a makeover.

Supplier Blavod Drinks said the brand would be receiving additional marketing support “to refresh opinions and attitudes around a product that delivers a genuine point-of-difference in a crowded vodka category”.

Blavod is made using black catechu, a herb extract from a tree native to Burma and eastern India.

Managing director Richard Ambler said: “We have updated the packaging with a more premium black bottle to achieve greater standout on shelf.”?Blavod has an rrp of £15.99 and is listed by Asda.

There's not going to be a campaign for that for much longer

The campaign name There’s A Beer For That may have got cynics like me trying to think of things there wasn’t a beer for, but broadly speaking it was a force for good.
