Sainsbury's in 25%-off-six promotion on wine

30 November, 2010

Sainsbury’s is trying to grab early Christmas BWS sales with an offer of 25% off a purchase of six or more bottles of wine, include Champagne and sparkling.

The discount starts tomorrow (December 1) and will run for a week.

The deal will apply to all wines that are already on promotion through the period. This would bring a bottle price of Crozes Hermitage Cave de Tain down to £4.87 from its promotional level of £6.49, already a £2-off deal.

Taste the Difference Mulled Wine will work out at £2.99 a bottle, compared to £5.99 for the regular price and £3.99 while on promotion.

There are also currently bottle discounts on Taste the Difference Bucks Fizz and Prosecco and Sainsbury’s Blanc de Blancs NV Champagne, plus dozens of other wines.
