Today’s launches drinks fascia
Published:  10 December, 2010

Today’s Group says the chance to plug a gap in the high street left by the demise of First Quench is driving the launch of a new specialist off-licence fascia.

Today’s Local Drinks have been launched to “assist retailers in establishing themselves as licensed specialists”.

The outlets join the group’s range of convenience store brands – Today’s Extra, Today’s Local and Today’s Express.

The first four Today’s Local Drinks stores have opened in Reading and Humberside, joining a chain of around 200 Today’s stores across all the fascias.

Today’s said it planned to expand this to 400 by the end of 2012, about 10% of which would be Local Drinks.

Retail development director Raj Krishan said: “We have refreshed our imagery to match our new fascias and we now feel we have external and internal communications that match the offer our stores deliver.”?The new look includes updated window vinyls, promotional bay branding and improved category signposting in stores.
