Australian Vintage UK appointments

The UK arm of McGuigan wine firm Australian Vintage has appointed Sainsbury’s winemaker Barry Dick in a similar role with the company.

While at the retailer, Dick was involved in upgrading the Taste the Difference range and the development of the house own-label range launched earlier this year.

Jan Turner will join Australian Vintage in January as account manager for independents and convenience stores in southern England. Craig Duncan has also been taken on by the firm as UK contract packing manager.

Lifting the spirits

I were to sum up alcohol sales over Christmas 2017 in one word, it would be “gin”.
