Nestlé develops new taste for Aero

Nestlé Confectionery is launching an orange flavour of its 125g Aero blocks in January.

It will be available in £1 price-marked and unmarked formats.

Nestlé claims that sales of the existing peppermint and milk chocolate blocks have increased by 70%, with 22 million units sold in the year to November 6.

Graham Walker, Nestlé UK trade communications manager, said: “Sales of our Aero blocks are flying off the shelves, especially the £1 price-marked packs.

“Rounded price points and price-marked packs appeal to value-conscious consumers.”
