Educational consultancy Brilliant Beer’s Tim O’Rourke will be attempting to take Imperial Stouts to St Petersburg in Russia, and is seeking a crew.

The Ale 4 Sail Great Baltic Adventure is set to recreate the journey made by beers from England to Russia in the 18th century, and to promote British cask beers at festivals in Stockholm, Helsinki and Copenhagen.

The journey starts on May 15 from Greenwich and will take five weeks with stopovers in a major city every Saturday when it will change crew. Contact tim@brilliantbeer.com or register online at thegreatbalticadventure.com.
