Cider TV ad wants drinkers to help with script

Strongbow is asking cider drinkers to supply a crucial line its forthcoming TV ad.

The action movie themed commercial is called Lean Mean Fighting Machine and will be shot next month. Before then, people on the cider brand’s Facebook page are being invited to submit suggestions for a punchy one-liner to be included in the final script.

Brand manager Lucy Henderson said, “With nearly 100,000 Facebook fans, we are hoping to attract some great one-liners for our new advertising campaign. We hope that offering the opportunity to our Strongbow Facebook fans to come up with the new end line for our advertising will create even more consumer interest and engagement with the brand and bring to life Strongbow’s Hard Graft advertising message.”
