Radio ads for V-Kat schnapps

V-Kat schnapps is hoping for a sales boost this spring as the result of a new ad campaign on Talk Sport radio.

The burst of 20-second ads includes spots on the new Keys & Gray show. Running from March 7 for four weeks, producer ICB predicts the ads will have a total audience of 3.4 million adults.

The commercials emphasise the mixability of V-Kat, a 22% abv product, which was originally known as Vodkat.

John Mills, managing director of ICB, said: “Talk Sport has enjoyed a huge increase in audience and listening hours recently and now reaches a weekly audience of over 3 million. As such, it is the perfect medium for increasing awareness for V-Kat within this important target group of sports loving adults.”

There's not going to be a campaign for that for much longer

The campaign name There’s A Beer For That may have got cynics like me trying to think of things there wasn’t a beer for, but broadly speaking it was a force for good.
