Waitrose wines to support Comic Relief

Waitrose is to give 10% of the retail price of eight wines to Comic Relief’s Wine Relief fund.?The wines include the company’s own-label Brut NV Cava which retails for £6.99, Wither Hills New Zealand Pinot Gris at £9.99, and Champteloup 2009 Muscadet at £6.99. The offer ends on Red Nose Day, March 18.?The Wine Relief pot will also get a boost from the fifth Scottish Comic Relief Wine Fair, which will take place at the Playfair Library in Edinburgh on March 16.?Waitrose, Majestic and M&S are among the retailers exhibiting, along with independents including Villeneuve Wines, Henderson Wines and Valvona & Crolla.?Tickets are £20 from hubtickets.co.uk or on 0131 473 2000.

I were to sum up alcohol sales over Christmas 2017 in one word, it would be “gin”.
