Famous Grouse gears up for Six Nations
Published:  26 January, 2007

The Famous Grouse is gearing up for the Six Nations rugby tournament with an Edinburgh-based push that includes sampling and perimeter board ads at Murrayfield.

The Famous Grouse is official sponsor of the Scottish team and the brand logo will be on the player's jerseys and the drink will be served at the stadium's bars. Poster ads will go up at Edinburgh's railway stations and "rugby hunks" will be giving shoppers the chance to win a pair of tickets to the tournament.

Lee Walker, Maxxium UK's brand manager for The Famous Grouse, said: "It's about bringing the brand values to life and getting behind the spirit and passion that the fans have for rugby."

Rugby-branded packaging will be used to promote mixing ginger ale with Famous Grouse.
