Some other ideas to whet your customers' appetites and improve your profits

The Whisky Tasting Game

Add some excitement to your whisky shelves with a tasting game that tests players' knowledge of the great malts of Scotland.

For £122 shoppers get four 70cl bottles of different single malts, Scottish-themed menus, place cards, instructions and score sheets. "The game is a great excuse to give your taste buds a trip around some of Scotland's finest distilleries while gambling in drams as you guess the malts and play the whisky quiz," a Gourmet Games spokesman said.

Or tempt your customers with a miniature version of the full-size tasting game. Containing four 5cl miniatures, it's ideal to play after dinner (rrp £22).
