Icy reception good for gum

Wrigley has rolled out its latest TV ads for Extra Ice with a Liquid Burst to target teens.

The campaign is predicted to reach an estimated 13 million people.

Nationwide sampling, a bespoke website and viral campaign will back the launch.

The gum comes in 10-packs of spearmint or peppermint flavour with a recommended retail price of 49p.

Richard Hemming MW: beware inverse snobbery

Few things can bring communal pleasure so intimately as wine. Apart from a hot tub, perhaps. Sport can trigger mass jubilation, film gives us shared empathy, but wine has a nigh-unique ability to bestow conviviality among us through a shared bottle ľ which makes it especially galling that we spend so much time divided over it.
