Collection Privée off-trade launch

20 April, 2007

Bordeaux brand Cordier is launching a range of mid-priced wines - Collection Privée - into the UK off-trade.

The rosé, Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot will have an rrp of £5.99. Bottle labels have been redesigned following discussions between PLB and buyers.

PLB's trade marketing manager Paul Shelton said: "This is an opportune time for the introduction of this range to the UK, given that branded Bordeaux is up by 6 per cent and France is experiencing real growth in the above-£5 sector."

The claim is based on Nielsen data to Dec 30 2006.
