Wychwood Brewery has launched a Fairtrade honey beer brewed with Chilean honey from the foothills of the Andes - BeeWyched.

Managing director Rupert Thompson said it is part of a general move to ensure the company is paying its farmer suppliers the right price for raw materials .

"We are focusing on ingredients as one of our messages, and fair dealing is going to be a big part of corporate social responsibility going forward , Paying people a f air price for what they have added in the value chain is part of that," he said .

The 5 per cent abv beer comes in 50cl bottles (rrp £1.59 ) and also uses Fairtrade sugars from Malawi and English Challenger hops.
